Washington Nationals call for Lighting Maintenance Inc.’s services

On the night of Friday, July 17th, 2015, Major League Baseball’s Nationals Park Stadium in Washington DC went dark twice as the lighting system failed, causing the game to be postponed. The cause was ultimately determined to be a faulty circuit breaker.

The Stadium Authority contacted Lighting Maintenance Inc.’s (LMI) Service Department and we dispatched a crew to the stadium Saturday morning to verify the lighting system was working correctly after the breaker was replaced.

Lighting Maintenance Inc. electricians spent a few hours of checking electrical components of the lighting system. LMI confirmed the outage had been caused by the breaker and the remainder of the system was functioning properly. The game resumed later that same afternoon without any further issues.
